CHEESE DOSA

Last month i went to this restaurant were they serve awesome dosa and idli. My hubby is a big fan of their chocolate dosa, which i am planning to reproduce very shortly.

Anyway i tried this cheese dosa and it was very nice. So i wanted to try it at home. Advantage is you can have it any time u want!! ;) The cheese dosa turned out very nice. Pity my hubby is not into cheese.

It is very simple to make. All you need is

Dosa batter -- 1 cup

Capsicum -- 1 big (sliced)
Onion -- 1 big (sliced)

Cheese -- 1/2 cup (grated/roughly chopped )(i have used processed cheese slices chopped)

Make thin dosas as usually made for masala dosa. Sprinkle capsicum and Onion slices. Cover and cook for a minute.

Remove the lid and sprinkle chesse gratings on it and wait till the cheese melts. I feel the processed cheese works better, as i tried mozerella and the taste was not so good.

Fold the dosa nicely and serve hot with any chutney of your choice.

Entering this into Akila's

and srivalli's
